Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Welcome! I'm Bianka Whynn, I work integratively and holistically with a combination of skills and approaches tailored to each individual, within the British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP) framework. My professional background includes years of experience in adult mental health sectors, children and young people in education.
I provide a warm, non-judgemental, reflective and open space for clients to express and explore themselves.
I believe therapy is all inclusive and does not have to be accessed only during very challenging times, but also when that bit of extra support is needed. In addition to life transitions, changing unhelpful habits, and overall personal relationships and development.
I work with adolescents and adults from all cultures, backgrounds, religions and sexual orientation.

What is Integrative Psychotherapy
Integrative Therapy is a combination of different types of psychotherapy; Humanistic, Psycho-analytic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Mindfulness is also incorporated, helping individuals to focus on the present moment. Aspects of personality, the social, emotional and physical aspects of life are also taken into account.
The therapist uses tools from each approach to create a program of therapy that is unique to you.
The aim of Integrative Therapy is to help us explore and pinpoint what is causing problems in our lives and provides us with tools to approach these problems in a more productive and open way. As a result creating more empowerment to take on life.
